Dr Tony Stubbs started his training to become a ophthalmologist in 1986 working with Doctor Maxwell Stubbs. Dr Stubbs while working both overseas and during his work the at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney in the Fred Hollow’s Eye Department, gained valuable surgical experience.
